On March 17th, 2021, MG Motor Europe announced that Hedin Mobility Group AB, through the subsidiary Hedin MG Sweden AB, is appointed distributor of MG on the Swedish market. The MG brand, which originated in Morris Garages in 1924, develops vehicles with the individual in focus and makes electric driving functional, safe, affordable and accessible to everyone. MG showed a strong launch with the model MG ZS EV, which became Sweden's best-selling electric car in June.

During the year, the sales of MG commenced in 43 new locations from Malmö in the south to Uppsala in the middle of Sweden and the plan is to reach between 50-55 retail points by summer 2022. MG’s already launched models, MG ZS EV, the MG EHS Plug-in Hybrid and the flagship MG Marvel R Electric will be accompanied by additional two models 2022.
