Hedin Mobility Group and BYD expand partnership in Sweden to include all-electric light commercial vehicles

Hedin Mobility Group has been appointed Swedish “Dealer+” of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) from the e-mobility pioneer BYD, thereby expanding the partnership through which Hedin Mobility Group since 2022 distributes and retail BYD passenger vehicles in Sweden and Germany.

The extended collaboration means that Hedin Electric Mobility will distribute BYD’s current and coming range of all-electric LCVs in the Swedish market, with Hedin Mobility Group’s dealer groups Hedin Bil and Bavaria Bil acting as retailers.

Starting in December 2023, BYD LCVs will be offered at all Hedin dealerships that represent BYD passenger cars, ensuring a nationwide presence towards a wide range of customer groups.

In Sweden, electrification of commercial vehicles is in a strong trend. In October 2023, all-electric models accounted for 23% of all registered LCVs, compared to 9% a year before. January through October this year, the number of registered electric LCVs grew by 101% compared to 2022.
