Hedin Mobility Group completes the acquisition of BMW and MINI-dealer Dubbelsteyn
MÖLNDAL, 4 July 2024 – Hedin Automotive B.V., a part of Hedin Mobility Group, has completed the acquisition of Dubbelsteyn B.V., which was announced on April 19, 2024. The acquisition relates to the BMW and MINI dealership activities including sales, aftersales and spare parts sales.
The transaction includes Dubbelsteyn Dordrecht and Dubbelsteyn Numansdorp. Through this acquisition, Hedin Automotive is further expanding its network and range of BMW and MINI from five to seven locations in the Netherlands. Hedin Mobility Group now represents the BMW and MINI brands in Europe at 62 locations in five countries.
BMW and MINI dealer Dubbelsteyn in Dordrecht and BMW dealer Dubbelsteyn in Numansdorp together serve the regions of Dordrecht, Hoeksche Waard, Goeree Overflakke, Barendrecht and the surrounding area. With the acquisition of these two branches, Hedin Automotive increases its share in the province of Zuid-Holland.
Dubbelsteyn employs a total of 100 people, all of whom are now employed by Hedin Automotive. In 2023, Dubbelsteyn sold more than 3.000 cars, with net sales exceeding €140 million.
