Hedin Mobility Group starts new auto repair shop in Gothenburg during 2025
MÖLNDAL, 2 July 2024 - During the past years Hedin Mobility Group’s portfolio has grown significantly, driven by a high sales rate combined with new car brands being added to the portfolio. The growth further increases the volumes through the Group’s repair shops, and Hedin Mobility Group has therefore decided to invest in increasing the capacity by establishing a new auto repair shop at Åskvädersgatan 6, Hisingen in Gothenburg.
Planned is a complete body and paint shop facility for several of the Group’s brands. During 2024 adjustments and new installations will be made, and the business is planned to be operational beginning of 2025.
Responsible for the operation is Hedin Göteborg Bil AB, with CEO Markus Östlund, who estimates the production capacity to 17 body technicians and 10 paint technicians when the business is fully up and running.

With this new repair shop we expand our capacity in a less sensitive market segment. Our staff will experience a work environment in large premises with modern equipment – something that in the long run will strengthen our relationships with both customers and partners.
