Hedin Automotive acquires Dutch dealer group Janssen Kerres
Hedin Automotive strengthens its market position in the south of the Netherlands and grows with KIA, Renault, Dacia and Nissan.
MÖLNDAL, SWEDEN, July 31, 2023 –– Hedin Automotive B.V., a subsidiary of Hedin Mobility Group, has reached an agreement with Janssen Automotive B.V. to acquire all shares in Janssen Kerres Groep B.V. and Janssen Kerres Lease B.V. The acquisitions comprise the dealer group Janssen Kerres’ automotive retail activities (vehicle sales and aftermarket services) as well as its lease activities.
Through the acquisition, Hedin Automotive strengthens its market position in the south of the Netherlands. Janssen Kerres operates 13 dealerships in the North Brabant and Limburg regions, representing KIA, Renault, Dacia and Nissan. Janssen Kerres also provides authorised workshop services for Peugeot and Citroën.
Since the 1960s, Janssen Kerres has been a progressive family business where motivated and driven employees work daily to provide customers with carefree mobility. The group’s wide dealer network covers a market area from south Limburg to east Brabant.
In 2022, Janssen Kerres had net sales of MEUR 200. A total of 300 people are employed in its retail operations, who all will continue their employment with Hedin Automotive after the takeover.

Subject to regulatory approval, the acquisitions are expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2023.
