Hedin Automotive Belgium acquires the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Center Sint-Pieters-Leeuw
Hedin Automotive Belgium further expands its truck business and strengthens its geographical presence in the Brussels region.
MÖLNDAL, SWEDEN, October 12, 2022 –– Hedin Automotive Belgium AB, a subsidiary to Hedin Mobility Group, has entered an agreement to acquire the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Center in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. Through the acquisition, Hedin Automotive increases its truck presence in Flanders to a total of four sales points and five service points.
The Mercedes-Benz Trucks Center in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw has approximately 40 employees and in 2021 the dealership sold 348 vehicles, including 167 trucks and 181 vans, accounting for a turnover of MEUR 26.9. The 3,900 sq m premises offer a variety of services and products including new truck sales, new and used vans, an extensive service operation and a spare part warehouse.

The acquisition is expected to be completed in mid-December 2022. After completion, Hedin Automotive will operate 20 Mercedes-Benz and three Toyota/Lexus dealerships in Belgium. In 2021, Hedin Automotive Belgium sold 9,223 new Mercedes-Benz vehicles and trucks with total Net Sales of MEUR 438.
