Hedin Automotive Belgium continues to grow with Toyota; acquires dealership in Brecht
Following the recent opening of a brand-new dealership in Lier, Hedin Automotive Belgium now expands further with Toyota through acquisition of the dealership Van Dijck.
MÖLNDAL, SWEDEN, February 8, 2023 –– Hedin Automotive Belgium AB, a subsidiary to Hedin Mobility Group, has acquired the Toyota dealership Van Dijck, which is located in Brecht, employing 10 people.
Through the acquisition, Hedin Automotive is strengthening its geographical presence in the province of Antwerp and the Kempen region. The Van Dijck dealership provides an ideal addition to Hedin Automotive’s other three Toyota locations in Kempen: customers can now go to all corners of the region to purchase or service their Toyota without leaving the Hedin Automotive network.
Hedin Automotive’s expansion with Toyota started only a year ago, when four dealerships in Turnhout, Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Dilbeek and Geel were acquired. At the start of 2023, Hedin Automotive opened a brand-new Toyota dealership in Lier, which is now followed by the acquisition of Van Dijck.

The business of Van Dijck Toyota is transferred to Hedin Automotive as of today, February 8, 2023. Following the completed acquisition, Hedin Automotive Belgium now operates a total of 20 Mercedes-Benz and 6 Toyota dealerships, of which 1 combined Toyota/Lexus dealership. Hedin Automotive is also the exclusive retailer of the brand-new INEOS Grenadier in Belgium, which is imported by the Hedin Mobility Group subsidiary Hedin Adventure Car.
