Hedin Bil is growing in Stockholm and Uppsala with Renault and Dacia as well as with Ford after sales business
Hedin Stockholm Bil AB and Hedin Mölndal Bil AB, both subsidiaries to I.A. Hedin Bil Aktiebolag, are growing by the acquisitions of the Renault and Dacia business and the Ford after sales business in Stockholm and Uppsala from Volvo Car Retail UM AB and Bra Bil Väsby Stockholm AB
On 19 August this year it was announced that Volvo Car Retail UM AB and Bra Bil Väsby Stockholm AB intended to sell parts of their business including Renault and Dacia in northern Stockholm and Uppsala to Hedin Stockholm Bil AB and the after sales business for Ford in Stockholm and Uppsala to Hedin Mölndal Bil AB.
The acquisitions have now been approved by the Swedish Competition Authority and today, 1 October, the acquisitions of Renault and Dacia, in Kista, Kungsängen and Uppsala, by Hedin Stockholm Bil AB and Ford after sales business, in Stockholm and Uppsala, by Hedin Mölndal Bil AB, are finalized.
The Renault and Dacia operations will be continued in existing facilities and in parallel the intention is to build three exclusive car facilities for Renault and Dacia close by, which is expected to be ready by the end of 2022.
The acquired after sales business for Ford will be moved to Hedin Bils existing Ford facilities in Stockholm and Uppsala.
