Hedin Bil strengthens its investment in trucks
Hedin Mobility Group AB acquires through its subsidiary, Hedin Helsingborg Bil AB, Tecto Trucks in Markaryd, one of the largest full-service truck facilities in Småland.
Tecto Trucks is authorized for Mercedes-Benz trucks, as well as DAF trucks. The purpose is to develop and strengthen the business within Hedin Bil, and the focus is to strengthen both the service business and increase the sales. The Markaryd facility is fully equipped for heavy vehicles and is authorized for trailers through BPW, Zepro tail lift and has a fully equipped hydraulic workshop. The acquisition will be completed on February 1st, 2022.
In connection with the takeover, the former owner Mattias Nilsson will take over the responsibility for the Swedish truck business at Hedin Bil.
Mattias Nilsson has previously been responsible for the Mercedes-Benz Sweden sales, marketing, and product. Before Tecto Trucks he was the CEO at DAF trucks where he worked for the general agent for Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
