Hedin Mobility Group wins the Swedish Art & Business Award for its new headquarters
MÖLNDAL, 30 May 2024 - In 2023, Hedin Mobility Group inaugurated its brand-new headquarters in Gothenburg. In addition to the impressive architecture, the office's spaces and surroundings are adorned with a large number of artworks in the form of both sculptures and paintings. Hedin Mobility Group has now been awarded the Swedish Art & Business Award for its excellent collaboration between culture and business.
The Swedish Art & Business Award is given annually by the association Kultur & Näringsliv (Culture & Business) to the best collaboration over the past year between companies and culture. The emphasis is that the cooperation should benefit both parties, be profitable for both, and benefit the surrounding community.
The award ceremony was held at the Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden on May 29, where the winner was announced. The award was presented by Sweden's Minister of Culture, Parisa Liljestrand, and received by Hedin Mobility Group's owner, Anders Hedin.
"We are naturally very pleased to receive this prestigious award. Our vision with our new headquarters has been to create an environment where both visitors and our employees have a stimulating environment that encourages creativity and well-being," says Anders Hedin, CEO of Hedin Mobility Group.
The jury described the office as a unique initiative where art meets business, which has continued to contribute to Hedin Mobility Group's success. The first of its kind in Sweden. They also highlighted the collaboration with gallery owner Peter Ferm and a large number of artists, of whom Lars Gustaf Andersson and Timo Solin were present to receive the award.
Hedin Mobility Group's office is not only accessible to employees but also features a restaurant and café open to the public, making both the environment and the art accessible to a broader audience.
